Essay 

Globalization has many impacts on human life, there are positive impacts and there are negative impacts. The impact of globalization has become very pronounced because it occurs in everyday life, one of which is gender equality. Gender equality leads to the existence of a  balance between the position of women and men, for example in the fields of leadership, education, and employment.

Before the development of globalization, the position of leaders was usually handled by men, but now it can also be handled by women. This is evidenced by the presence of several well-known women who became leaders, for example, Megawati Soekarnoputri as the country's leader, Susi Pudjiastuti as minister and Neneng Hasanah as the district leader.

Nowadays many women already have higher education, examples of women with high education are Alyssa Soebandono, Tasya Kamila, and Maudy Ayunda. In the past women did not have to go to school because people thought that in the end, women would only become housewives. After the progress of the era and the development of globalization, not only men can receive higher education but also women. A woman must have a high education because she will be a teacher for her children and her knowledge will become a provision in her career.

In the past, women will only be at home and become housewives, but in this globalization era, women can do the same work as men. There have been many women who work even though they work in jobs that are usually for men, for example, engineering departments, drivers, and architecture and development.

In summary, globalization causes the balance between women and men to be eroded and even disappear, every human being can take positive benefits from it. There are many parts that only men can do but because globalization women can also do it, such as not only man but women also can be leader, women can have high education, and women can do the same work as a man.
